About This 1994 Honda Acty
This 1994 Honda Acty SDX 4WD came in with 43,700 original miles on the clock and a body that's genuinely rust-free, not just wiped down for photos. It's a 5-speed manual with selectable 4WD, alloy wheels, and factory air conditioning, and it's already been fully serviced and inspected on our end with a clean title in hand, so it's ready to register the day it lands in your driveway.
Why the Acty is a different animal
Most kei trucks on the market are Suzuki Carrys or Daihatsu Hijets, both cab-over layouts with the engine under the driver's seat. Honda built the Acty differently: the engine sits low, under the bed, just ahead of the rear axle. That mid-engine placement puts more weight over the rear wheels, which matters when you're hauling a full load of mulch or firewood, and it frees up extra legroom in the cab. The SDX trim was Honda's better-equipped version back in the day, which is why this one still has A/C and alloy wheels instead of the stripped-down base setup you see on a lot of imports.
Mechanically these are simple, old-school Honda engineering with none of the complexity of a modern truck. The 5-speed keeps the little 660cc engine in its power band, and 4WD is there when you need it for a wet field or a gravel incline, not something you're running all the time. At 43,700 miles, this one hasn't been worked hard.
Around a US property this is the truck people end up using more than the pickup they actually paid full price for. It fits through gates a full-size truck can't touch, turns around in tight spaces, and sips fuel while you're running it back and forth all day.
- Rear-mid engine layout for better bed weight distribution
- Selectable 4WD, 5-speed manual
- Air conditioning and alloy wheels
- Rust-free body, fully serviced and inspected
- Clean title, ready to register
Good fits: landscaping and nursery work, moving feed and fencing around a ranch, hauling gear to a hunting lease, running supplies at a campground, or just being the truck that lives on a small farm and never sees a highway. We deliver door-to-door anywhere in the lower 48, and the whole purchase runs on a straightforward bank transfer, no dealer games.
