Daihatsu Atrai for Sale

The Atrai is the Hijet van with the interior a passenger car would get. Same platform, same running gear, same proven mechanical package — but trimmed, glazed and seated for people rather than pallets, which is why it is the variant most often chosen for camper and day-van conversions.

Turbocharged versions are common and worth seeking out: the extra torque makes a real difference to a van that is carrying weight or climbing, and four-wheel drive is available across much of the range. The Atrai Wagon designation denotes the longer, higher-trim passenger body.
