A little context on the S120-series Atrai
The Atrai is the passenger-trimmed Hijet van, and the S120 code is the rear-drive version of the mid-1990s car. Daihatsu added seating, trim and glass to the Hijet van shell and in the higher specifications fitted the twin-cam, fuel-injected version of the 659cc EF. It is a Hijet with the commercial fittings taken out and the comfort put in.
Six figures, at 135,700 miles or approximately 218,400 km. Daihatsu designed the 659cc EF and the later KF as working engines for a vehicle sold almost entirely to trades and farms.
The configuration
A two-wheel-drive van gives you the same footprint as the equivalent truck with a dry, lockable, weatherproof load bay instead of an open deck. Nothing is lost mechanically — the engine, chassis and running gear are the truck's — and what is gained is the ability to leave tools and stock in it.
This van is quoted on enquiry. Vans take a different freight rate from flat-bed trucks because of their height, so we would rather work the figure out against your actual delivery address than publish one that does not survive contact with the quote.
To proceed
Because it was built in 1997, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. There is a walkaround video on this listing alongside the photographs. There is no list price on this one. Send us a message with your location and we will put a figure to it.
