The S220-series Atrai, in context
The S220 Atrai Wagon of 1999 onwards is the passenger version of the post-1998 Hijet van, and it is where Daihatsu put the turbocharged engine. The intercooled, twin-cam EF-DET in the quicker versions made the Atrai Wagon one of the fastest things in the kei class, and the raised roof and sliding doors made it one of the roomiest.
Odometer at 69,100 miles, call it 111,200 km. Daihatsu kei vehicles of this period arrive across a wide band of readings, and this one falls in the middle of it.

What it is for
A two-wheel-drive van gives you the same footprint as the equivalent truck with a dry, lockable, weatherproof load bay instead of an open deck. Nothing is lost mechanically — the engine, chassis and running gear are the truck's — and what is gained is the ability to leave tools and stock in it.
This van is quoted on enquiry. Vans take a different freight rate from flat-bed trucks because of their height, so we would rather work the figure out against your actual delivery address than publish one that does not survive contact with the quote.
How the purchase works
At 2000 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. You do not deal with the import paperwork; we do, and we organise delivery to your address. This listing carries a walkaround video as well as the gallery. Ask us for a price and include your delivery state; we will quote the vehicle and the transport together.
