Where the TCR10 Estima Lucida fits
The Estima Lucida and Emina are the narrow-body versions of Toyota's first-generation Estima, built to fit inside Japan's compact vehicle tax class. The engine is the 2TZ four-cylinder, mounted lying down beneath the floor at a steep angle, and some versions are supercharged. That under-floor layout is what gives the first Estima its distinctive egg shape and completely flat cabin floor.
The gauge reads 74,700 miles — somewhere near 120,200 km in the units it was printed in.
Putting it to work
A two-wheel-drive van gives you the same footprint as the equivalent truck with a dry, lockable, weatherproof load bay instead of an open deck. Nothing is lost mechanically — the engine, chassis and running gear are the truck's — and what is gained is the ability to leave tools and stock in it.
The $5,000 to $8,000 band is the heart of the imported van market. For a working vehicle that has to keep tools dry and out of sight, it is the point where supply and specification meet.
How to take it
Because it was built in 1995, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. A walkaround video is included with this listing. Listed at $6,140 — tell us it is the one and we will take it off the market.
