About This 1996 Honda Acty
We are offering this 1996 Honda Acty Truck, wearing White from inventory already in the States. Recorded as 4WD with a 5-speed manual transmission. Identified by chassis number HA4-2306295.
What the HA4 Acty is
HA4 is the four-wheel-drive Acty truck of 1990 to 1999 and the most numerous Acty on the US market. Honda put the 656cc E07A under the bed, nearly flat, and ran drive forward to the front axle from behind it — the opposite of almost everything else in the class. The result handles like a mid-engined vehicle, carries its load directly over the driven rear wheels, and keeps a completely flat deck floor because nothing is in the way of it.
The odometer has passed six figures at 119,900 miles, roughly 193,000 km. A kei engine of this family displaces 656cc and works harder per mile than a larger unit, which is simply how the class is engineered.

What the specification means
Four-wheel drive on a mid-engined Acty is an unusual arrangement and it has a practical consequence: the engine's mass already sits over the rear axle, and anything loaded into the bed sits on top of it. Weight goes where the traction is before the front axle is ever called on. The flat bed floor is a second consequence of the same layout, since there is no propshaft tunnel running under it.
Under $5,000 is the entry point for an imported kei truck in the United States, and it generally means an older vehicle with a higher reading on the clock rather than a compromised one. Our kei truck price guide sets out what separates the bands.
Ordering and delivery
Built in 1996, it sits the far side of the 25-year federal import cut-off. The paperwork side — import documentation and title — is our job, and we deliver anywhere in the US. A walkaround clip sits with the photographs on this page. Listed at $4,990 — tell us it is the one and we will take it off the market.
