On the Minicab Truck
The Minicab Mitsubishi introduced in 1999 was built to the post-1998 kei dimensions and then kept in production, remarkably, until 2014. The 657cc 3G83 carried over with fuel injection. Fifteen years on one chassis makes this the best-supported Minicab generation for parts, and Nissan sold the identical vehicle as the Clipper throughout.
The odometer sits at 23,623 miles, in the order of 38,000 km in the original units — a modest figure for a Mitsubishi kei vehicle returning from Japanese service.
Why this configuration
Mitsubishi set the Minicab up as a work vehicle more deliberately than most of its rivals, and a four-wheel-drive example is the specification that reflects that: an under-cab three-cylinder driving the rear axle, a selectable front axle, and on the work trims a factory power-take-off to run a tipper ram or a pump directly off the gearbox.
Mid-band pricing on a kei truck generally reflects a sound, unremarkable specification — the four-wheel-drive, five-speed, flat-bed combination that the majority of buyers are looking for in the first place.
Paperwork and shipping
Built in 1999, it sits the far side of the 25-year federal import cut-off. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. It is listed at $6,700. Get in touch to put a hold on it.
