The U42V Minicab Van explained
U42V is the four-wheel-drive Minicab van of 1991 to 1998, mechanically identical to the U42T truck beneath an enclosed body. The 657cc 3G83 three-cylinder and the selectable front axle carry straight over. The van body is the practical difference: a dry, lockable load bay and a quieter cab than the flat-bed version.
The clock reads 72,000 miles, roughly 115,900 km on the scale it was built with. Mitsubishi kei vehicles of this era turn up across a broad range of readings and this is squarely within it.
What the specification means
Four-wheel drive under a van body is the specification for people who need the load bay dry and the vehicle capable of leaving a made road. The front axle is selectable from the cab, and the enclosed body adds nothing to the drivetrain's job beyond a little weight and a great deal of security.
This van is quoted on enquiry. Vans take a different freight rate from flat-bed trucks because of their height, so we would rather work the figure out against your actual delivery address than publish one that does not survive contact with the quote.
Ordering and delivery
