Background on the HA3 Acty
HA3 is the rear-drive Acty truck built from 1990 to 1999, the generation that moved to the 656cc E07A when Japan raised the kei displacement limit. E07A is a single-overhead-cam triple lying almost on its side beneath the bed, driving the rear wheels through a short propshaft. Without a front axle to feed, the HA3 is the lightest and simplest Acty of its era, and the one with the fewest moving parts to look after.
Recorded mileage is 37,655, equivalent to roughly 60,600 km in the units the gauge reads. Honda's E07-series triples are small-capacity commercial engines designed for a long duty cycle, and readings in this part of the range are common across the Acty's export population.
What the specification means
Rear-wheel drive on a kei truck puts the drive where the load is. With the engine under or behind the cab and the bed directly over the driven axle, adding weight to the deck improves traction rather than hurting it — the opposite of what happens on a front-driven vehicle.
Above $12,000 a kei truck is being priced on specification rather than transport. A 1995 Honda Acty in this band is normally carrying hardware or a configuration that the ordinary working trucks do not.
How to take it
Because it was built in 1995, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. It is listed at $12,597. Get in touch to put a hold on it.
