Know the HA4 Acty
HA4 is the four-wheel-drive Acty truck of 1990 to 1999 and the most numerous Acty on the US market. Honda put the 656cc E07A under the bed, nearly flat, and ran drive forward to the front axle from behind it — the opposite of almost everything else in the class. The result handles like a mid-engined vehicle, carries its load directly over the driven rear wheels, and keeps a completely flat deck floor because nothing is in the way of it.
This one reads 89,000 miles, about 143,200 km. Honda built the mid-mounted E07 engine for commercial use rather than for a passenger car, and figures in the high five digits are routine across the generation.
How this one is set up
What a 4WD Acty gives you over the two-wheel-drive version is a front axle you can bring in when the surface stops cooperating — wet grass, loose gravel, a muddy field gate. The rest of the truck is unchanged: the same mid-mounted engine beneath the bed, the same low flat deck, the same cab that starts at the front bumper.
We quote this truck individually. Where it has to travel is the single biggest swing on the final figure, so the honest thing is to ask for your delivery address first and give you one number afterwards.
Ordering and delivery
The 1996 build year puts it outside the 25-year window that restricts importing vehicles built to a foreign specification. You do not deal with the import paperwork; we do, and we organise delivery to your address. You can also watch the walkaround video above before deciding. This one is priced individually — contact us with your delivery location for a figure.
