About This 1998 Honda Acty
Landed and available: this 1998 Honda Acty Truck, finished in White, ready to go out to you. It is 4WD with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The number on the plate is HA4-2401790.
The HA4 Acty, in context
Built from 1990 until the Acty was redesigned in 1999, the HA4 pairs four-wheel drive with Honda's 656cc E07A triple, mounted under the load floor instead of under the seats. Honda engineered the whole second generation to the 3.30-metre kei length limit in force at the time, so the cab is pushed right to the front bumper. That packaging is the reason an Acty bed is usable at all on a vehicle this short.
Recorded mileage is 36,900, equivalent to roughly 59,400 km in the units the gauge reads. Honda's E07-series triples are small-capacity commercial engines designed for a long duty cycle, and readings in this part of the range are common across the Acty's export population.

The configuration
Four-wheel drive on a mid-engined Acty is an unusual arrangement and it has a practical consequence: the engine's mass already sits over the rear axle, and anything loaded into the bed sits on top of it. Weight goes where the traction is before the front axle is ever called on. The flat bed floor is a second consequence of the same layout, since there is no propshaft tunnel running under it.
Rather than list a figure, we quote this one when you ask. That way the number you get already includes getting the truck to your address, which is the part most online prices leave out.
The buying process
At 1998 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. A walkaround clip sits with the photographs on this page. There is no list price on this one. Send us a message with your location and we will put a figure to it.
