The Town Box Wide steps deliberately outside the kei class: Mitsubishi widened the body and fitted a 1.1-litre four-cylinder in place of the 660cc triple, so the vehicle is registered as an ordinary car rather than a kei. The result is a small van with more power and a wider track than any Minicab, and it was sold in Japan in modest numbers.

What it is for
