The HA6 Acty explained
HA6 is the rear-drive truck of the third-generation Acty, introduced in 1999 to the enlarged kei standard of 3.40 metres long and 1.48 metres wide. The engine changed with it, to the 656cc E07Z — still a mid-mounted single-cam triple, now fuel-injected across the range. The extra 100mm of length went into the cab rather than the bed, which is the practical difference between an HA6 and the HA3 it replaced.
Recorded mileage is 28,700, equivalent to roughly 46,200 km in the units the gauge reads. Honda's E07-series triples are small-capacity commercial engines designed for a long duty cycle, and readings in this part of the range are common across the Acty's export population.
The configuration
A rear-drive Acty is the simplest version of an already simple truck: engine amidships under the bed, drive straight back to the rear wheels, no transfer case and no front driveshafts to maintain. Because the engine sits over the driven axle, it starts from a better traction position than a front-engined two-wheel-drive pickup does, and the bed floor is lower for having nothing beneath it.
This one is priced on enquiry rather than listed. Freight to your state is the main variable on a kei truck and we would rather quote it properly than publish a figure that turns out to exclude it — tell us where it is going and we will come back with the number.
Getting it to you
At 2000 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. Import documentation and titling are handled at our end, and we ship nationwide. This listing carries a walkaround video as well as the gallery. We price this one on request — get in touch and we will send a quote.
