What the HH3 Acty Van is
HH3 is the van-bodied, rear-drive member of the second-generation Acty family, sold in Japan both as the Acty Van and, in more decorated form, as the Honda Street. The running gear is the truck's: a 656cc E07A laid flat under the rear floor. Because the engine is behind the passengers rather than beneath them, the cabin floor is flat and the load bay sits low over the rear axle.
The clock shows 60,500 miles — call it 97,400 km, since the instrument was marked in kilometres when it left Japan. That is mid-range for a Honda kei vehicle of this era arriving in the United States.
What you are buying
An Acty van is the truck with a roof over the load bay, and because the engine lies beneath that bay rather than under the cab, the floor is flat from bulkhead to tailgate. Rear drive and an enclosed body make it a dry, lockable, square box on a vehicle you can park anywhere — which is the entire case for a kei van over a kei truck.
This van is quoted on enquiry. Vans take a different freight rate from flat-bed trucks because of their height, so we would rather work the figure out against your actual delivery address than publish one that does not survive contact with the quote.
The buying process
At 1997 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. The paperwork side — import documentation and title — is our job, and we deliver anywhere in the US. You can also watch the walkaround video above before deciding. There is no list price on this one. Send us a message with your location and we will put a figure to it.
