Know the HH4 Acty Van
The HH4 is the four-wheel-drive version of Honda's 1990s Acty Van and Street. Underneath the enclosed body it is an HA4 — the same 656cc E07A under the load floor, the same transfer arrangement feeding the front axle from behind the engine. The van body adds a lockable, weatherproof load bay and rear side glass, which is what separates it from the truck rather than anything mechanical.
The odometer has passed six figures at 140,100 miles, roughly 225,500 km. A kei engine of this family displaces 656cc and works harder per mile than a larger unit, which is simply how the class is engineered.
What the specification means
Four-wheel drive under a van body is the specification for people who need the load bay dry and the vehicle capable of leaving a made road. The front axle is selectable from the cab, and the enclosed body adds nothing to the drivetrain's job beyond a little weight and a great deal of security.
The $5,000 to $8,000 band is the heart of the imported van market. For a working vehicle that has to keep tools dry and out of sight, it is the point where supply and specification meet.

Because it was built in 1997, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. The asking price is $5,120 — contact us to reserve it.
