About This 1998 Daihatsu Hijet
Here is a 1998 Daihatsu Hijet Truck (White), imported from Japan and available to buy now. This one is 4WD, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The plate on this one reads S110P-174399.
Know the S110-series Hijet
S110 is the four-wheel-drive version of the Hijet Daihatsu built from 1994 to 1999, using the 659cc EF three-cylinder. Work-specification trucks on this chassis — the Climber and the various dump bodies — were offered with a two-speed transfer case giving a genuine low range, and with a locking rear differential. That combination in a vehicle this small is the reason S110s ended up on Japanese hillside farms.
It carries 15,200 miles — about 24,500 km, the figure the gauge was actually calibrated in. That is at the lower end of the spread for Daihatsu kei vehicles leaving the Japanese market.

What you are buying
A four-wheel-drive Hijet is the configuration Daihatsu sold to Japanese farms and construction trades, and the body options reflect it — this is the chassis that got the tippers, the lifts and the power-take-off drives. Drive runs rearward from the under-cab engine with a selectable front axle, so the truck behaves as a rear-driver on tarmac and brings the front wheels in only when asked.
This one is priced on enquiry rather than listed. Freight to your state is the main variable on a kei truck and we would rather quote it properly than publish a figure that turns out to exclude it — tell us where it is going and we will come back with the number.

The 1998 build year puts it outside the 25-year window that restricts importing vehicles built to a foreign specification. The paperwork side — import documentation and title — is our job, and we deliver anywhere in the US. A walkaround video is included with this listing. This one is priced individually — contact us with your delivery location for a figure.
