About This 1998 Mitsubishi Minicab
Out of Japan and into our US warehouse: a 1998 Mitsubishi Minicab Truck — the paint is down as White. Recorded as 4WD with a 5-speed manual transmission. The number on the plate is U42T-0513777.
About the U42T Minicab
U42T is the four-wheel-drive Minicab truck Mitsubishi built from 1991 to 1998, with the 657cc 3G83 three-cylinder beneath the cab. Work specifications of this chassis were offered with a two-speed transfer case and a crawler gear, and the Minicab was one of the few kei trucks sold with a factory power-take-off for driving a tipper or a pump. Mitsubishi also supplied this generation to Nissan as the Clipper.
Odometer: 87,600 miles, near 141,000 km. The 3G83 was Mitsubishi's standard kei commercial engine for two decades, which tells you what duty cycle it was engineered around.

Reading the specification
Mitsubishi set the Minicab up as a work vehicle more deliberately than most of its rivals, and a four-wheel-drive example is the specification that reflects that: an under-cab three-cylinder driving the rear axle, a selectable front axle, and on the work trims a factory power-take-off to run a tipper ram or a pump directly off the gearbox.
Rather than list a figure, we quote this one when you ask. That way the number you get already includes getting the truck to your address, which is the part most online prices leave out.
To proceed
At 1998 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. We handle the import and title paperwork, and delivery is available to all fifty states. A walkaround video is included with this listing. Ask us for a price and include your delivery state; we will quote the vehicle and the transport together.
