About This 1999 Daihatsu Hijet
This particular van is a 1999 Daihatsu Hijet Deck Van in White, and it is here rather than on a boat. Specified 2WD, shifted by an automatic gearbox. The chassis plate reads S200V-0019744.
About the S200-series Hijet
The S200 codes are the rear-drive Hijets of 1999 to 2004, the first drawn to the enlarged kei standard. Daihatsu moved the range to the twin-cam, 12-valve EF-VE version of its 659cc three-cylinder with fuel injection, which was a real step in refinement over the single-cam engine before it. The Jumbo extended cab, which steals a little bed length to give the driver a reclining seat, belongs to this generation.
Six figures, at 116,300 miles or approximately 187,200 km. Daihatsu designed the 659cc EF and the later KF as working engines for a vehicle sold almost entirely to trades and farms.

What the specification means
A two-wheel-drive van gives you the same footprint as the equivalent truck with a dry, lockable, weatherproof load bay instead of an open deck. Nothing is lost mechanically — the engine, chassis and running gear are the truck's — and what is gained is the ability to leave tools and stock in it.
This van is quoted on enquiry. Vans take a different freight rate from flat-bed trucks because of their height, so we would rather work the figure out against your actual delivery address than publish one that does not survive contact with the quote.
To proceed
At 1999 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. We handle the import and title paperwork, and delivery is available to all fifty states. There is a walkaround video on this listing alongside the photographs. This one is priced individually — contact us with your delivery location for a figure.
