About This 1996 Mitsubishi Minicab
This 1996 Mitsubishi Minicab Truck in White is in our US inventory and available now. Built as 4WD with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Recorded against chassis U42T-0409466.
What the U42T Minicab is
U42T is the four-wheel-drive Minicab truck Mitsubishi built from 1991 to 1998, with the 657cc 3G83 three-cylinder beneath the cab. Work specifications of this chassis were offered with a two-speed transfer case and a crawler gear, and the Minicab was one of the few kei trucks sold with a factory power-take-off for driving a tipper or a pump. Mitsubishi also supplied this generation to Nissan as the Clipper.
The clock reads 50,400 miles, roughly 81,100 km on the scale it was built with. Mitsubishi kei vehicles of this era turn up across a broad range of readings and this is squarely within it.

Why this configuration
Mitsubishi set the Minicab up as a work vehicle more deliberately than most of its rivals, and a four-wheel-drive example is the specification that reflects that: an under-cab three-cylinder driving the rear axle, a selectable front axle, and on the work trims a factory power-take-off to run a tipper ram or a pump directly off the gearbox.
Under $5,000 is the entry point for an imported kei truck in the United States, and it generally means an older vehicle with a higher reading on the clock rather than a compromised one. Our kei truck price guide sets out what separates the bands.
Buying this one
At 1996 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. You do not deal with the import paperwork; we do, and we organise delivery to your address. A walkaround video is included with this listing. Listed at $4,750 — tell us it is the one and we will take it off the market.
