About This 2000 Subaru Sambar
Considering a kei truck? This 2000 Subaru Sambar Truck, recorded as White is available through Kei Truck Direct. It is set up as 4WD with an automatic transmission. The plate on this one reads TT2-066490.
Know the TT2 Sambar
The TT2 is the four-wheel-drive version of the last Sambar truck Subaru designed itself, built from 1999 to 2012 with the 658cc EN07 four still mounted behind the rear axle. Fuel injection was standard across this generation and a supercharged EN07 was offered in the range. Because Subaru switched the Sambar to a Daihatsu platform afterwards, the TT2 is the final four-cylinder, rear-engined kei truck anyone built.
The recorded reading is 79,200 miles — somewhere around 127,500 km. Subaru built the rear-mounted EN07 for the commercial duty cycle these vehicles were sold into, and high five-figure readings are the norm rather than the exception.

Why this configuration
Selecting four-wheel drive in a Sambar brings in a front axle on a vehicle whose engine already sits at the very back, behind the rear axle line. That rearward weight bias is deliberate and it is unique in the class. The bed above it stays flat and unobstructed because nothing mechanical runs underneath it.
This one is priced on enquiry rather than listed. Freight to your state is the main variable on a kei truck and we would rather quote it properly than publish a figure that turns out to exclude it — tell us where it is going and we will come back with the number.
Making it yours
Built in 2000, it sits the far side of the 25-year federal import cut-off. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. A walkaround clip sits with the photographs on this page. Pricing on this vehicle is quoted per enquiry; tell us where it is going and we will come back to you.
