About This 1997 Honda Acty
If you are shopping kei trucks, this 1997 Honda Acty Truck, wearing White is one to look at. Listed as 4WD, driving through a 5-speed manual transmission. The plate on this one reads HA4-2364632.
The HA4 Acty, in context
HA4 is the four-wheel-drive Acty truck of 1990 to 1999 and the most numerous Acty on the US market. Honda put the 656cc E07A under the bed, nearly flat, and ran drive forward to the front axle from behind it — the opposite of almost everything else in the class. The result handles like a mid-engined vehicle, carries its load directly over the driven rear wheels, and keeps a completely flat deck floor because nothing is in the way of it.
This one reads 83,800 miles, about 134,900 km. Honda built the mid-mounted E07 engine for commercial use rather than for a passenger car, and figures in the high five digits are routine across the generation.

What you are buying
What a 4WD Acty gives you over the two-wheel-drive version is a front axle you can bring in when the surface stops cooperating — wet grass, loose gravel, a muddy field gate. The rest of the truck is unchanged: the same mid-mounted engine beneath the bed, the same low flat deck, the same cab that starts at the front bumper.
