About the PA1 Honda Z

The PA1 Honda Z of 1998 to 2002 is the oddity of the kei class: a small, square, SUV-styled car with the engine mounted amidships under the rear floor, borrowed from the Acty commercial range. Honda sold it mainly with the UM-4 full-time four-wheel-drive system and the 656cc E07Z, including a turbocharged version. Few were built and fewer were exported, so the Z is a genuinely uncommon sight outside Japan.

What it is for
