About This 1996 Suzuki Carry
Landed and available: this 1996 Suzuki Carry Truck, white over its original panels, ready to go out to you. Power reaches the road as 4WD, via a 5-speed manual gearbox. The plate on this one reads DD51T-450006.
The DD51T Carry, in context
DD51T is the four-wheel-drive Carry built from 1991 to 1999, and it is one of the most widely exported kei trucks of its era. The 657cc F6A sits beneath the cab floor and drives the rear axle, with a selectable front axle and, on many trucks, an extra-low crawler gear in the gearbox. Suzuki also supplied this generation to Mazda, which sold it as the Scrum.
Shown on the clock: 26,100 miles, near enough 42,000 km. Suzuki's F6A and K6A three-cylinders were produced in enormous numbers across the Carry, Every and Jimny ranges, so the model line's service history as a whole is unusually well documented.

Putting it to work
The 4WD Carry is the default working kei truck in much of rural Japan. The layout is the orthodox one — cab over the front axle, engine under the floor, longest bed in the class for the length — with a front axle you select from the cab. On a farm track or a building plot that is the whole argument for it.
This one is priced on enquiry rather than listed. Freight to your state is the main variable on a kei truck and we would rather quote it properly than publish a figure that turns out to exclude it — tell us where it is going and we will come back with the number.
The buying process
Because it was built in 1996, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. This listing carries a walkaround video as well as the gallery. Pricing on this vehicle is quoted per enquiry; tell us where it is going and we will come back to you.
