DD51B is the four-wheel-drive, factory dump-bodied Carry of the 1990s — the DD51T chassis with a hydraulically tipping bed fitted on the production line. What it is for

Tipping bed, low-range transfer case and a locking rear differential together are the top work specification in this class. The hydraulics empty the load, the low range moves it uphill, and the diff lock keeps both rear wheels driving when one of them is on something slick. Very few imported kei trucks carry all three.
