About the DB52T Carry
The DB52T is the four-wheel-drive Carry truck of 1999 onwards, built to the post-1998 kei standard of 3.40 metres by 1.48 metres. Its fuel-injected 657cc F6A gave up the carburettor that the previous generation used, which is the main mechanical difference between a DB52T and a DD51T. Suzuki continued to offer a low-range transfer case and a locking rear differential on work-specification trucks in this range.
Past the hundred-thousand mark at 101,635 miles, approximately 163,600 km. Parts availability for the F6A and K6A families is among the best in the kei segment, which is a relevant fact about the model line at any reading.
Putting it to work
A tipper with low range is a deliberate working combination. The hydraulic bed does the unloading; the second reduction in the transfer case does the climbing, so the truck can carry a full load up a slope at the pace the terrain allows. One without the other leaves half the job to the driver.
This band covers the serious work specifications — heavy-duty and power-take-off driven dump bodies, scissor lifts, and the four-wheel-drive chassis with low range that go under them. These were expensive vehicles new and they have held their position.
How the purchase works
Because it was built in 2000, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. The paperwork side — import documentation and title — is our job, and we deliver anywhere in the US. The asking price is $13,900 — contact us to reserve it.
