About This 1998 Suzuki Carry
What you are looking at is a 1998 Suzuki Carry Truck, recorded as White, held in our US inventory. The specification is 4WD and a 5-speed manual box. The chassis identifier is DD51T-583154.
Where the DD51T Carry fits
DD51T is the four-wheel-drive Carry built from 1991 to 1999, and it is one of the most widely exported kei trucks of its era. The 657cc F6A sits beneath the cab floor and drives the rear axle, with a selectable front axle and, on many trucks, an extra-low crawler gear in the gearbox. Suzuki also supplied this generation to Mazda, which sold it as the Scrum.
The odometer records 19,300 miles, which is in the region of 31,100 km in the units the dial was printed in — toward the low end for a Carry-family vehicle coming out of Japan.

What the specification means
The 4WD Carry is the default working kei truck in much of rural Japan. The layout is the orthodox one — cab over the front axle, engine under the floor, longest bed in the class for the length — with a front axle you select from the cab. On a farm track or a building plot that is the whole argument for it.

Next steps
At 1998 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. A walkaround clip sits with the photographs on this page.
