A little context on the DD51T Carry
DD51T is the four-wheel-drive Carry built from 1991 to 1999, and it is one of the most widely exported kei trucks of its era. The 657cc F6A sits beneath the cab floor and drives the rear axle, with a selectable front axle and, on many trucks, an extra-low crawler gear in the gearbox. Suzuki also supplied this generation to Mazda, which sold it as the Scrum.
Odometer reading 66,000 miles, about 106,200 km. For a 660cc Suzuki commercial engine that is an unremarkable figure within the range these vehicles are exported at.
Why this configuration
The 4WD Carry is the default working kei truck in much of rural Japan. The layout is the orthodox one — cab over the front axle, engine under the floor, longest bed in the class for the length — with a front axle you select from the cab. On a farm track or a building plot that is the whole argument for it.
Rather than list a figure, we quote this one when you ask. That way the number you get already includes getting the truck to your address, which is the part most online prices leave out.
How to take it
A 1998 build date places this vehicle beyond the 25-year threshold that governs importing a non-US-market car into the United States. Import documentation and titling are handled at our end, and we ship nationwide. A walkaround video is included with this listing. Pricing on this vehicle is quoted per enquiry; tell us where it is going and we will come back to you.
