About This 2001 Suzuki Carry
We have this 2001 Suzuki Carry Truck, listed as Silver on the ground in the United States. On the paperwork it is 2WD with a 5-speed manual box. The chassis identifier is DA52T-244766.
Where the DA52T Carry fits
DA52T is the rear-drive Carry of the generation Suzuki introduced in 1999 to the enlarged kei dimensions. The F6A three-cylinder carried over but moved to fuel injection, and the cab grew in both directions: this is the Carry with a noticeably roomier footwell than the 51-series truck it replaced. Suzuki also offered the K6A twin-cam engine in parts of this range.
The instrument reads 88,400 miles, roughly 142,300 km on its original kilometre scale. The Carry has been built continuously since 1961 and its engines were designed around sustained commercial use.

In use
The rear-drive Carry is the volume-selling version of the best-selling kei truck, with the engine under the cab driving the back axle through a short propshaft. It is the lightest configuration Suzuki offered and the cheapest to keep, and it leaves the full bed length — the longest in the class for the overall dimensions — completely usable.
This sits in the cheapest band of the market. At this level a 2001 Suzuki Carry Truck is competing with used garden machinery and utility vehicles on price while offering a cab, a heater and a licence plate, which is the argument most buyers at this end are making.
The buying process
Because it was built in 2001, the federal 25-year exemption applies and the usual FMVSS and EPA conformity requirements fall away. Customs entry, import documentation and title work are all done here, and we arrange transport to any state. A walkaround video is included with this listing. It is listed at $4,490.
