The DB52T Carry, in context
The DB52T is the four-wheel-drive Carry truck of 1999 onwards, built to the post-1998 kei standard of 3.40 metres by 1.48 metres. Its fuel-injected 657cc F6A gave up the carburettor that the previous generation used, which is the main mechanical difference between a DB52T and a DD51T. Suzuki continued to offer a low-range transfer case and a locking rear differential on work-specification trucks in this range.
The instrument reads 85,900 miles, roughly 138,200 km on its original kilometre scale. The Carry has been built continuously since 1961 and its engines were designed around sustained commercial use.
How this one is set up
The 4WD Carry is the default working kei truck in much of rural Japan. The layout is the orthodox one — cab over the front axle, engine under the floor, longest bed in the class for the length — with a front axle you select from the cab. On a farm track or a building plot that is the whole argument for it.
Rather than list a figure, we quote this one when you ask. That way the number you get already includes getting the truck to your address, which is the part most online prices leave out.
Ordering and delivery
Built in 2001, it sits the far side of the 25-year federal import cut-off. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. A walkaround clip sits with the photographs on this page. Pricing on this vehicle is quoted per enquiry; tell us where it is going and we will come back to you.
