The DD51T Carry, in context
DD51T is the four-wheel-drive Carry built from 1991 to 1999, and it is one of the most widely exported kei trucks of its era. The 657cc F6A sits beneath the cab floor and drives the rear axle, with a selectable front axle and, on many trucks, an extra-low crawler gear in the gearbox. Suzuki also supplied this generation to Mazda, which sold it as the Scrum.
Odometer reading 68,800 miles, about 110,700 km. For a 660cc Suzuki commercial engine that is an unremarkable figure within the range these vehicles are exported at.
The configuration
Four-wheel drive on a Carry means a selectable front axle on a truck that is otherwise rear-driven from an engine beneath the cab. Suzuki sold more of these than anyone sold of anything else in the class, which matters in a practical way: the running gear is the best-documented and best-supported in the kei segment, and the trucks turn up with the widest range of factory work options.

How to take it
At 1998 it is past the 25-year mark, which is the line that decides whether a Japanese-market vehicle can be imported at all. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. You can also watch the walkaround video above before deciding. There is no list price on this one. Send us a message with your location and we will put a figure to it.
