About This 1999 Honda Acty
The vehicle on this page is a 1999 Honda Acty Attack 4WD Mid-Engine, UL-UR 4MT Diff Lock, Like New!, finished in Taffeta White, imported and road-ready for the paperwork stage. Gearbox: manual. Identified by chassis number HA4-2401825.
HA4 Acty: the short version
Built from 1990 until the Acty was redesigned in 1999, the HA4 pairs four-wheel drive with Honda's 656cc E07A triple, mounted under the load floor instead of under the seats. Honda engineered the whole second generation to the 3.30-metre kei length limit in force at the time, so the cab is pushed right to the front bumper. That packaging is the reason an Acty bed is usable at all on a vehicle this short.
The odometer stands at 2,839 miles, which is about 4,600 km on the kilometre-marked gauge these were built with — the lower end of the range Japanese-market kei commercials show when they leave the domestic fleet.

What the specification means
A locking rear differential does one specific thing: it stops an open differential sending all the torque to the wheel with least grip. With the lock engaged both rear wheels turn together, which is what gets a light-rear-ended truck off wet grass or out of a rut. It is a work-specification fitting rather than standard equipment.
The $12,000 to $20,000 band is where specialist kei trucks sit — low-range transfer cases, locking differentials, factory work bodies, late chassis and genuinely low readings. These are not volume trucks and they do not come up often.
