The HA4 Acty, in context
The HA4 is the 4WD member of Honda's second-generation Acty family, produced through the 1990s alongside the rear-drive HA3. Its 656cc E07A sits amidships and horizontal, which is why the bed is low and the cab has no engine tunnel. Honda used a part-time system on most HA4s, selected from the cab, so the truck runs in rear drive until the front axle is called on. Mechanically it is a simple, well-documented truck with wide parts support.
This one reads 98,600 miles, about 158,700 km. Honda built the mid-mounted E07 engine for commercial use rather than for a passenger car, and figures in the high five digits are routine across the generation.
How this one is set up
A four-wheel-drive Acty takes its front drive from a transfer unit behind the mid-mounted engine and runs it forward beneath the cab. The arrangement is the reverse of a conventional truck, and it leaves the load bed completely unobstructed. For yard work, a smallholding or a site road, the useful part is that the driven rear axle carries both the engine and the payload.

How to take it
The 1999 build year puts it outside the 25-year window that restricts importing vehicles built to a foreign specification. We take care of the entry documents and the title, then arrange shipping to wherever you are. This listing carries a walkaround video as well as the gallery. Ask us for a price and include your delivery state; we will quote the vehicle and the transport together.
